Personalisation
PT Tracker adapts to how you train and what you like looking at. From visual theming to equipment-aware workouts, everything can be tailored to your setup.
Dark and light mode
Switch between dark and light themes in Settings > Appearance. Dark mode uses a true dark background to reduce eye strain during early morning or late-night sessions. The app respects your device’s system setting by default, or you can lock it to your preference.
Custom accent colours
Choose an accent colour that makes the app feel like yours. The accent colour applies to buttons, progress indicators, completed set highlights, and navigation elements. Pick from the preset palette or enter a custom hex code.
Equipment profiles
Not every gym has the same kit. Equipment profiles let you define what’s available at each location:
- Select from a list of common equipment (barbell, dumbbells, cable machine, pull-up bar, kettlebells, resistance bands, etc.).
- When generating workouts or asking the AI Coach for alternatives, only exercises that match your available equipment are suggested.
- Maintain multiple profiles if you train at different places.
Multiple workout locations
If you train at more than one venue — perhaps a commercial gym and a home setup — you can create separate locations, each with its own equipment profile. Before starting a workout, choose your current location and the app adjusts exercise availability accordingly.
This is especially useful for programmes that include both gym and home sessions.
Custom dashboard
Your home screen is built from drag-and-drop widgets. Choose what matters to you:
- Today’s workout — Quick access to your next scheduled session.
- Macro summary — Calories, protein, carbs, and fat at a glance.
- Fasting timer — Current fasting status and countdown.
- Weekly activity — Total training sessions, steps, and active minutes.
- Social feed — Recent activity from friends and groups.
- Streak counters — Workout streaks, fasting streaks, and logging streaks.
Rearrange widgets by holding and dragging them into your preferred order. Remove anything you don’t need and add it back later from the widget library.
Tips
- Set up your equipment profile during onboarding so smart autofill and the AI Coach work accurately from day one.
- Try different dashboard layouts for different phases of training — a cutting phase might prioritise the macro summary widget, while a strength block might focus on workout volume.
- Custom accent colours also apply to the rest timer overlay, so pick something visible.
