Workout Tracking

Workout Tracking

The core of PT Tracker is logging your workouts accurately and quickly. Every set, rep, and kilogram is recorded so you can see exactly what you did and plan what comes next.

Logging sets, reps, and weight

Each exercise in your workout shows a list of sets. For every set, you can enter:

  • Reps — How many repetitions you completed.
  • Weight — The load used, displayed in kilograms or pounds depending on your settings.
  • RPE (optional) — Rate of perceived exertion if your programme uses it.

Tap a set row to edit the values. The keyboard opens with a numeric pad so you can enter numbers quickly without switching input modes.

Completing sets

Once you’ve entered your numbers, tap the tick button to mark the set as complete. This does two things:

  1. Records the set in your workout history.
  2. Triggers the rest timer automatically so you know when to start your next set.

You can also uncomplete a set if you made a mistake — just tap the tick again to toggle it back.

Workout drafts

Life interrupts. If you close the app mid-workout, PT Tracker saves your progress as a draft. When you come back, you’ll see an option to resume where you left off rather than starting from scratch.

Drafts persist until you either complete or discard the workout. There’s no time limit.

Saving and reviewing workouts

When you’ve finished every exercise, tap Complete Workout to save the session. Your completed workout appears in your history, where you can review:

  • Total volume (sets x reps x weight)
  • Exercises performed
  • Any personal bests hit during the session

Tips

  • Use smart autofill to pre-populate weights from your last session so you spend less time typing.
  • If you need to swap an exercise mid-workout, the AI Coach can suggest alternatives that target the same muscles.
  • Pair workout tracking with supersets and dropsets for more advanced training structures.
