Log Your First Workout
Whether you’re following a programme or building a session from scratch, tracking a workout in PT Tracker is straightforward.
Starting a scheduled workout
If you’ve chosen a programme, today’s workout will appear on the Workouts page.
- Tap today’s scheduled workout to open it.
- You’ll see a list of exercises with target sets, reps, and suggested weights.
- Tap Start Workout to begin.
Logging sets
For each exercise:
- The target reps and weight are pre-filled based on your programme (or your previous session if you’ve trained before).
- Complete a set, then tap the set row to log it. Adjust the weight or reps if they differ from the target.
- A rest timer starts automatically between sets — you can customise the duration in settings or dismiss it.
- Repeat for each set, then move to the next exercise.
Autofill
Tap the autofill button to fill all remaining sets with the target values. This is handy when you’ve hit every rep as prescribed and want to save time.
CrossFit and timed workouts
For AMRAP, EMOM, or For Time sessions, PT Tracker displays the appropriate timer at the top of the screen. Log your rounds and reps as you go — the timer handles the pacing.
Finishing up
Once all exercises are complete, tap Finish Workout. You’ll see a summary showing:
- Total volume (sets x reps x weight)
- Workout duration
- Personal records hit during the session
Your workout is saved and synced to the cloud. You can review it any time from the workout history.
Extra credit
After finishing, PT Tracker may suggest bonus exercises based on your programme or muscles that could use extra work. These are optional — add them if you have energy left.
